Bodywork & Trim

Very straight and rust free body, chassis and floors, all new paint with a great shine and good alignments of the body panels for a 1970's convertible car! All chrome and glass, all trim is either new or in good original condition. The complete underside is coated in the correct Ford style Red-oxide paint and shows you that this car is in very good and solid rust free condition. The power convertible top works great and the white top is new as well. No flaws here at all as you can see on the pics.

Cleveland 351 completely rebuild with all new internals such as: New forged crankshaft, new alu rods with ARP bolts, new Lunati camshaft and lifters, all new Clevite bearings, Forged pistons and Chromoly rings, dual timing chain, new oil and water pumps, complete rebuild 4V heads with a 3'angle valve job and mild porting, new Edelbrock intake and new 4bbl Holley 650 carb, new electronic MSD ignition, new plug wires, radiator and new starter and alternator. New headers and dual exhaust make the performance package complete! This baby makes around 375+ hp and is very healthy! More than 8500,- was invested in the engine rebuild alone.

Fresh C4 automatic transmission with a new stall converter, flexplate, and shift kit hooked up to a Ford 9 Inch rear axle. Completely rebuilt suspension with new leaves and poly bushings front and back, all new brake and steering and fuel systems! The transmission, like the rest of the drivetrain, was completely checked and approved in our shop.

All new white interior ( NOT ON THE PICTURES YET ! ITS IN PROGRESS ) in very nice overall shape with new door panels, bucket seats, all new carpets and dash panel, emblems and white face gauges. Super cool on these warm and hot summer day's! (instead of black)

  • Guide: Matching numbers

In the collector car hobby, most investment-minded buyers are acutely interested in a specific car’s history. One of the main aspects of that history is an original or, as most people state it, numbers-matching drivetrain. At pedaltothemetal muscecars we feature a plethora of original and numbers-matching classics including ‘Cudas, Road Runners, Chevelles, Camaros, Corvettes and Trans Ams. And, if a potential buyer knows how to properly identify and interpret certain manufacturing codes, they can further validate their car’s history, or on request we can provide it.

  • Vehicle claims and descriptions

Vehicle/product descriptions, representations and claims on or offline are based on what can be seen by the human eye, documentation, previous professional experience, opinion, factory claims, and, or, information passed on to us by previous owners or restorers. It's to the best of our knowledge that everything we advertise has all indications of being that claim. Please inquire as to what documentation we have on the vehicle you are purchasing or feel free to ask any additional questions you might have, But by no means you can accept our answers as facts as the are our interpretation and might not match yours. It is with integrity and honesty that we describe our cars, but they are in fact, up to 50 years old, may have had many previous owners, modifications or alterations that are unknown to the us, so it's not possible to verify everything about every car in detail. Thereby the stated conditions or details of a car can never ever be taken as a fact. As always we welcome personal inspections and or independent appraisers prior to a sale. Incase we speak of "Original" or "Matching numbers" it means that we asume that to be the case, but with old classic cars thats by no means a guarantee. So please feel free to verify that in person or with a third party.

Pttm goes a step further than almost every other seller(s), as we also do a full inspection of our vehicles prior to having them for sale in our showroom and make repairs improvements if needed so. And when a vehicle/product is sold we give it a full service check before you receive it !
