General discription

COMING SOON/EXPECTED

This fantastic-looking black/black-true 1969 Camaro with its SS trim and performance V8 engine hooked up to its famous Muncie 4 speed manual transmission is great fun to drive and enjoy. The car was restored, has many new and restored parts and it's very solid and rust free. The Tuxedo black paint was applied professionally and has an awesome shine and afterward's an original factory style white hockey-style stripe was added to make this car really stand out. When was the last time you saw such a nice, restored black 69'camaro for sale in this condition? So don't wait to long if you are looking for one as this is a rare chance to own a great 69' Camaro that's all done and ready to be enjoyed for years to come.

We won't state that it's an original SS car, as without a build sheet with Chevy there is no way in proving that, but what we CAN say is that this car has all the original SS details, options and more to be a correct SS car and so nobody can state its not an actual SS car. But true SS or not, in this color and with these options and driveline this car will get thumbs up everywhere you will take it and will for sure also has the potential to win awards on car shows.

The car is equipped with a Performance 350 V8 engine with lots of power and combined with the Muncie 4 speed transmission this car is really fast and fun to drive. The sound of the dual exhausts with headers is something you need to here live to really appreciate it. As you might know, a 4-speed manual transmission car is up to 35% more powerful than the same engine that's equipped with a manual transmission. This is due to the loss in power because of the hydraulics and converter slip in an automatic transmission which declares why manual transmissions in a Musclecar are so much more popular than automatic's. Besides the gain in performance, a manual 4-speed car is also much more fun to drive as you can really choose the shift moments yourself instead of the transmission choosing that moment for you.

The interior is also very correct, restored and its equipped with everything a real SS car needs, black bucket seats and a floor console with the additional four SS gauges to monitor the engine and also this car has a factory dash with tacho !. Everything in the interior is in very good condition and the carpets and headliner, as well as the dash, have no flaws or cracks.

The underside of the car is also solid and clean and the chassis is also rust free and in very good condition for a 50-year-old classic car. All the tires, brakes and brake lines, suspension bushings, and the steering system work as they should and are in very good condition. This car needs nothing and can be driven and enjoyed once PTTM has inspected and serviced the car before we hand you over the keys. The trunk floor is also solid and coated in the correct factory finish.

In this stunning Tuxedo black/black color combination, which we feel one of the best colors for a 69 Camaro, this car combined with its options and powerful driveline with manual 4-speed trans is for sure a great investment for its new owner. For its asking price, you can't find a nicer one, let alone build or restore one yourself.

  • Guide: Matching numbers

In the collector car hobby, most investment-minded buyers are acutely interested in a specific car’s history. One of the main aspects of that history is an original or, as most people state it, numbers-matching drivetrain. At pedaltothemetal muscecars we feature a plethora of original and numbers-matching classics including ‘Cudas, Road Runners, Chevelles, Camaros, Corvettes and Trans Ams. And, if a potential buyer knows how to properly identify and interpret certain manufacturing codes, they can further validate their car’s history, or on request we can provide it.

  • Vehicle claims and descriptions

Vehicle/product descriptions, representations and claims on or offline are based on what can be seen by the human eye, documentation, previous professional experience, opinion, factory claims, and, or, information passed on to us by previous owners or restorers. It's to the best of our knowledge that everything we advertise has all indications of being that claim. Please inquire as to what documentation we have on the vehicle you are purchasing or feel free to ask any additional questions you might have, But by no means you can accept our answers as facts as the are our interpretation and might not match yours. It is with integrity and honesty that we describe our cars, but they are in fact, up to 50 years old, may have had many previous owners, modifications or alterations that are unknown to the us, so it's not possible to verify everything about every car in detail. Thereby the stated conditions or details of a car can never ever be taken as a fact. As always we welcome personal inspections and or independent appraisers prior to a sale. Incase we speak of "Original" or "Matching numbers" it means that we asume that to be the case, but with old classic cars thats by no means a guarantee. So please feel free to verify that in person or with a third party.

Pttm goes a step further than almost every other seller(s), as we also do a full inspection of our vehicles prior to having them for sale in our showroom and make repairs improvements if needed so. And when a vehicle/product is sold we give it a full service check before you receive it !
